I hope your December lessons and life are going smoothly...

And now I am wondering if that greeting really is realistic in the slightest. I mean, we are music teachers. So of course, it most likely is NOT going smoothly!

I had a completely different episode written for this week, and then life happened. After a teacher gathering last week and a little incident of my own, I knew I needed to switch gears and record something much more honest.

The newest episode is called Teaching While Human and it is simply a conversation about what it is like to teach while carrying the full weight of real life. December is wonderful, but it is also a lot. And imposter syndrome settles in quite a bit at times like these.

I am curious if this one resonates with you. If anything in it feels familiar, I would genuinely love to hear.
